Role Overview

The Manager – Activation will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating all activation initiatives, including on-ground events, BTL (Below-the-Line) marketing, consumer engagement programs, trade activations, and digital-led activations. The role requires strong project management, vendor coordination, creativity, and the ability to deliver impactful campaigns that strengthen brand presence and drive measurable results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute brand activation strategies in line with marketing objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end execution of BTL campaigns, events, sponsorships, exhibitions, and experiential marketing initiatives.
  • Drive trade and channel partner activations to enhance sales and visibility.
  • Collaborate with brand, sales, and product teams to design innovative engagement programs.
  • Identify, onboard, and manage agencies/vendors for activation activities.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and share post-event reports with insights and ROI analysis.
  • Ensure activations comply with brand guidelines and deliver consistent consumer experiences.
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for all activation projects.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and new formats of consumer engagement.

Qualifications & Skills

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in brand activations, BTL marketing, or event management.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale consumer or trade activations.
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent negotiation, vendor management, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
  • Creative thinker with hands-on execution capabilities.
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to measure ROI and effectiveness of campaigns.
  • Willingness to travel extensively as per activation requirements.
