Location: New Delhi (with regular travel to all FIFA Talent Academies across India)Reports to: Project Manager, FIFA Talent Development SchemeEmployment Type: Full-time | Fixed-Term | Project-Based (FIFA TDS)

About The Role

The Academy Operations Manager will be responsible for the smooth day-to-day functioning of the FIFA Talent Academies across India. This role will ensure that all academies operate efficiently, maintain high performance and welfare standards, and deliver on the objectives of the FIFA Talent Development Scheme (TDS). The position involves close coordination with academy staff, AIFF Member Associations, state governments, sponsors and key stakeholders to manage operations, recruitment, logistics, and performance monitoring, while ensuring the academies provide an optimal environment for player development.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the daily operations of all FIFA Talent Academies, ensuring adherence to program goals, timelines, and standards.
  • Coordinate with academy staff, coaches, medical and sports science teams, and administrators to maintain smooth functioning of training, education, accommodation, and welfare services.
  • Implement operational procedures for player and staff recruitment, onboarding, and welfare management.
  • Ensure performance monitoring systems are in place and regularly updated, using KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Liaise with academies, AIFF Member Associations, government bodies and other stakeholders for operational support and compliance.
  • Organize trials, workshops, and competitive events in line with academy objectives and talent pathways.
  • Manage logistics for travel, equipment, and facilities, ensuring resources are available and well-maintained.
  • Prepare regular operational reports for the Project Manager, highlighting achievements, challenges, risks, and recommendations.
Who Should Apply

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree.Minimum 3 years’ experience in academy management, football operations, or sports project management.Strong organisational and multi-stakeholder coordination skills.Data-driven approach to monitoring and improving operations.Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and capable of managing databases.

Preferred Skills & Background
