Management Information System Executive

Role Overview: You will be responsible for supporting the development and management of a comprehensive Management Information System (MIS) at WOTR. This includes developing data collection methodologies, ensuring data accuracy, compiling and analyzing data, and supporting the project management team in decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities: - Support the development of a comprehensive MIS system in consultation with project teams and regional office members. - Develop and/or revise project-related data collection methodologies to align with project objectives and organizational goals. - Train and guide project team members in data collection methodologies to ensure accurate and reliable data is collected. - Compile baseline data for each project component and project indicators. - Assist in developing an automated and interoperable information management system and dashboard for tracking real-time progress. - Regularly collect data on performance indicators to measure achievement against targets. - Ensure data validity, reliability, and integrity through quality checks and corrective actions. - Maintain and update the MIS platform for easy access to Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) data. - Analyze data to support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders. - Support in coordinating and conducting thematic assessments. - Track progress, challenges, and lessons learned during project implementation. - Undertake visits to project sites in rural areas, with travel comprising 50-60% of the total monthly duration. - Perform any other duties assigned by the Regional Manager within the scope of the role. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Agriculture Economics/Economics, Development Studies, Rural Development, or a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Management. - Minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing, developing, or implementing data collection processes in the Development sector. - At least one (1) year of experience in setting up and maintaining information and data management platforms. - Proficiency in statistical packages such as MS-Excel, Google Sheets, and Looker Studio. - Proficiency in Hindi and English, both in writing and speaking.
