Job Description

A Maintenance Trainee is responsible for ensuring the efficiency, reliability, and safety of machinery, equipment, and infrastructure in an industrial or manufacturing setting. Their role includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and continuous improvement to minimize downtime and enhance productivity. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures. Conduct regular inspections and condition monitoring of machines. Analyze maintenance data to predict potential failures and take preventive actions. VMC, HMC, Vacuum brazing, Oven PM. 2. Troubleshooting & Repairs Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system failures. Supervise and perform repairs to restore equipment functionality. Coordinate with maintenance technicians and contractors for specialized repairs. VMC, HMC, Vacuum brazing, Oven repair & maintenance. 3. Equipment Installation & Upgrades Oversee the installation of new machines and systems. Ensure proper calibration and alignment for optimal performance. Recommend and implement upgrades to improve efficiency and safety. 4. Safety & Compliance Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to workplace safety and environmental regulations. Conduct risk assessments and enforce safety procedures. Train maintenance staff and machine operators on best practices. LOTO system 5. Cost & Inventory Management Monitor maintenance budgets and control costs. Manage spare parts inventory and procurement. Optimize maintenance strategies to reduce expenses while improving reliability. 6. Documentation & Reporting Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, failures, and corrective actions. Prepare reports on equipment performance and maintenance KPIs. Develop maintenance manuals and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 7. Continuous Improvement & Innovation Analyse machine performance and suggest efficiency improvements. Implement new technologies and best practices for maintenance management. Lead maintenance-related projects and process optimizations.
