Maintenance Technician

Role Overview: As a Maintenance Technician at our foundry consumables manufacturing unit specializing in riser sleeves and ceramic foam filters, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable operation, upkeep, and improvement of all production equipment and utilities. Your responsibilities will span across mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance to support continuous production, achieve safety standards, and reduce downtime efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on various equipment used in riser sleeve and ceramic foam filter production. - Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic breakdowns. - Inspect and maintain plant utilities including compressors, blowers, pumps, and dust-collection systems. - Adhere to maintenance safety procedures for high-temperature and dust-prone environments. - Participate in root cause analysis for repeated failures and support continuous improvement projects. - Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve machine reliability. Qualifications Required: - ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related field. - 3-7 years of experience in maintenance within manufacturing; foundry/ceramics industry preferred. - Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical circuits, PLC basics, sensors, and instrumentation. - Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics. - Problem-solving mindset, strong communication skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
