Job Description

1. Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) Management Oversee wastewater treatment operations , ensuring compliance with PCB norms . Monitor and maintain pH, COD, BOD levels , and ensure proper sludge management. Ensure the efficient treatment and recycling of wastewater. Maintain records and reports for regulatory compliance. 2. Ammonia Refrigeration & Cooling Systems Ensure proper functioning of ammonia-based refrigeration units for storage and processing. Maintain compressors, condensers, cooling towers, and chillers . Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to prevent breakdowns. Optimize cooling efficiency for consistent ice cream storage temperatures . 3. Boiler & Steam System Operate and maintain boilers used in pasteurization and processing. Monitor fuel efficiency, steam pressure, and safety parameters . Ensure proper water treatment to prevent scaling and improve efficiency. 4. Compressed Air & Pneumatics Maintain air compressors and pneumatic systems used in packaging and production. Ensure a steady supply of compressed air for various equipment. 5. Water Treatment & Supply Oversee RO plants, softeners, and DM plants for clean water supply. Ensure water recycling and reuse to minimize wastage. 6. Electrical & Power Systems Ensure uninterrupted power supply for production, storage, and refrigeration. Maintain transformers, DG sets, and control panels . Implement energy conservation strategies to reduce operational costs. 7. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all utility equipment. Conduct real-time monitoring and condition-based maintenance to reduce downtime. Keep detailed logs and reports for equipment performance and efficiency. 8. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with FSSAI, PCB, and OSHA regulations for food safety and worker protection. Implement emergency protocols for ammonia leaks, boiler failures, and power outages . Conduct safety training programs for all maintenance and plant personnel. 9. Team Management & Training Supervise ETP operators, refrigeration technicians, electricians, and boiler attendants . Conduct regular training on equipment handling, safety procedures, and energy conservation. Key Focus Areas for Ice Cream Plants: Maintaining precise refrigeration temperatures for product quality. Ensuring energy-efficient operations to reduce costs. Complying with environmental and safety regulations . Preventing equipment breakdowns to avoid production losses.
