Position: Maintenance Manager (India plants) Industry - Auto Components Education - BE Mechanical Location - Peenya, Bangalore Candidates should have substantial experience with CNC machines and machine shops. Qualification BE Mechanical Engineering with at least 20 years experience of which at least 3 years should be in a similar role in a reputed company. Description of the role: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing maintenance efforts across an organization. Manages maintenance activities for the upkeep of buildings, machinery, landscapes, and offices. Oversees a range of custodial and maintenance activities. The person is also expected to control costs and continuously improve operational excellence parameters such as Plant Upkeep, Breakdown Maintenance, Preventive Maintenance, TPM , etc. Job description Develop maintenance schedules and enforce them among maintenance staff Respond to emergency calls for maintenance Manage the set up and take down of different events Perform troubleshooting to solve any issues Communicate plans for upper level improvements to maintenance worker staff Continuously analyse equipment down times & cost gaps or opportunities and implement improvement actions to overcome those day to day risks. To Ensure Integrated Manufacturing system (QMS and IS0 requirements) are in place Negotiate contracts with outside vendors for execution of maintenance work Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems through timely inspection and repair Preparation of MIS report with detailed analysis. Preparation of Maintenance Budget. Perform new projects and cost estimation. TPM implementation across the plant. Through knowledge in Electrical and distribution system. Performing Legal statutory records and requirements. Key Metrics: MTTR & MTBF Rootcause Analysis and implementing action to reduce MTTR and increasing MTBF of equipment. R&M cost Plan Vs actual. Power & Fuel cost Plan Vs actual TPM Masterplan Vs Actual Maintenance Inventory targets Number of improvements and participation Key Competency Working knowledge of manufacturing processes like Engineering industry, Steel machining, assembly, welding, painting and / or plating. Good knowledge in ERP and other soft skills. Leadership qualities. Emotional stability and good social skills Result oriented with a bias towards action Good communication abilities both oral and written.
