Maintenance Head

As a Maintenance Head, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance operations for an organization in the automotive components or steel/metal industry. With over 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for strategic planning, team leadership, maintenance operations, safety compliance, performance monitoring, project management, and vendor management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned with business goals and operational needs. - Plan and schedule maintenance activities, including preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance. - Manage maintenance budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource allocation. - Implement and maintain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and other continuous improvement methodologies. - Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors. - Provide technical guidance and training to team members. - Ensure the reliable and efficient operation of all plant equipment. - Implement and maintain effective preventive and predictive maintenance programs. - Manage and resolve equipment breakdowns and issues. - Oversee the procurement and management of spare parts and materials. - Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards. - Implement and maintain a robust safety program. - Track and analyze key maintenance performance indicators (KPIs). - Prepare and present regular maintenance reports to management. - Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. - Manage maintenance projects, including equipment upgrades, installations, and repairs. - Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. - Negotiate and manage contracts with maintenance vendors. - Ensure vendors provide high-quality services and products. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. - 10+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in the auto components or steel/metal industry. - Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. - Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance techniques. - Familiarity with maintenance management software (CMMS). - Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to motivate and lead a team. - Strong organizational and planning skills. - Project management skills. - Budgeting and financial management skills. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and standards.
