Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily maintenance operations and lead the maintenance department team
Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to avoid equipment failures
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to hospital settings
Manage maintenance budgets and resources effectively
Coordinate with other departments for scheduling and priority of maintenance tasks
Monitor, report, and improve maintenance performance metrics
Manage vendor contracts and outsourced maintenance services
Respond swiftly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize hospital disruptions
Drive continuous improvement in maintenance efficiency and safety standards

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related technical field
At least 8 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within a healthcare or hospital environment
Strong knowledge of hospital infrastructure systems such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and medical equipment maintenance
Proven leadership experience managing maintenance teams
Familiarity with hospital safety standards and regulations
