Job Summary:

The Kitchen Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, upkeep, and proper functioning of all kitchen equipment, utensils, and infrastructure. The role is essential to support smooth kitchen operations and maintain hygiene and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, exhausts, and equipment regularly.
• Ensure all utensils, vessels, and cooking surfaces are thoroughly cleaned after each use.
• Check and clean gas pipelines, burners, and stoves daily to prevent blockages and ensure safety.
• Assist in basic repairs and preventive maintenance of kitchen equipment (e.g., mixers, burners, trolleys, etc.).
• Monitor and report any maintenance issues (leaks, equipment faults, electrical issues) immediately to the supervisor.
• Dispose of kitchen waste and segregate it as per guidelines.
• Support pest control measures by keeping areas dry, clean, and free of food waste.
• Refill cleaning supplies, dishwashing liquids, and sanitizers as required.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist during deep cleaning schedules or maintenance shutdowns.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in kitchen or facility maintenance preferred.
• Knowledge of basic hygiene and safety practices.
• Physically fit to handle cleaning tasks and lift heavy equipment when required.
• Ability to work in hot and busy kitchen environments.
• Willingness to work in shifts, including early mornings or late evenings.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
