Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Predictive/ Preventive Maintenance 1. Following the prevent maintenance as per annual plan 2. Analysing the previous history of equipment before taking it for PM. 3. Doing manual inspection of machine & equipment as per the Preventive Maintenance check sheet on daily & weekly basis. 4. Restoring the defective parts & removing the abnormalities & taking corrective measures proactively. 5.Taking trail of equipment to ensure normal functioning of the equipment & handing over to production 6.Following and updating TBM calendar 7. Inspect the machine equipments spare parts from time to time as per TBM calendar 8.Verifying the equipment and spare part as per shelf life to analysis its condition 9. Doing condition-based maintenance to increase the life of the equipment & continuous monitoring the equipment. 10.Maintaining predictive maintenance/activity report 11.Conducting quarterly preventive maintenance to avoid future breakdown Documentation & other activities: 1.Check Daily breakdown report & update in SAP 2.Maintain documents for ISO 9001 &14001 3.Maintaining preventive maintenance check sheet, machine history card, updating TBM calendar, predictive maintenance documentation 4.5s Audit documentation & pre and post report 5.Suggesting kaizen for improvement & implementation Spare Part Management 1. Ensuring machine wise spare part availability as per the Time Base Maintenance (TBM) 2. Generate PR for procurement of required Spare part 3. Take follow up with Purchase department for timely availability of spare part 4. Issuing spare part from Stores & installing the spare part Preferred candidate profile 1.Minimum 4 years, of experience in Fabrication Industry 2.Ability to effectively influence the stakeholder 3.Proficiency & comfort with numbers. 4.Effective communication verbal, written and Presentation & Analytical skills 5.Preferably for SAP PM experience
