Your mission, roles and responsibilities Overall responsibilities and duties: The role of a Plant Maintenance Technician is to participate in the Total and Preventive Maintenance (TPM) for all equipment and facilities. The main missions of the role are to: Analyse mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and make necessary corrections and running adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality Try out equipment after repairs, changeovers or extended downtime Record operational data, such as pressure readings, length of stroke, feeds and speeds for use in set-up and preventive maintenance records Perform scheduled maintenance Participate in Production System Efficiency Process and quality improvement actions for all facilities Facilitate equipment moves on the shop floor Give advice on technical specifications of new equipment and alterations on existing equipment and facilities, making sure manufacturing, maintainability and Health, Safety Environmental requirements are met Set up requisitions for supplies, equipment and facilities Participate in the management of the inventory of spare parts and consumables to eliminate downtime Keep up to date Audit documentation related to maintenance Train operators on the safe operation of production equipment Perform a start of shift safety sign-off to ensure that all safety features on assigned equipment are operational Your profile and competencies to succeed Qualifications The ideal candidate will have/be:Male/Female with an age limit from and should have proper Communication skill prefrebly English Minimum education level: Diploma/Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) Any Discipline Experience: o Minimum 4-6 years experience in Maintenance field. o PLC programming Knowledge in Siemens (TIA Portal), AB PLC Mitsubishi essential. o Experience in Fanuc Yaskawa robots, Pipe Bending machines, Fanuc Siemens CNC, PLC based SPM machines Utility (Diesel Generator, Air compressors etc.) o Good experience with Preventive, Predictive Breakdown maintenance o Good experience in Hydraulic and Pneumatic preventive, breakdown maintenance. o Skills and competencies o Techanical skill set. o Demanding and rigorous o Customer oriented o Ability to develop the trainees. o Motivation o Result Oriented o Ability to work under pressure and high availability for the ramp-up o With negotiation experience o Autonomous: Can solve his problems by himself (wished) o Aggressive and Demanding towards Improvement Drive for concerns o Integrity What we can do for you At Forvia, you will find an engaging and dynamic environment where you can contribute to the development of sustainable mobility leading technologies.
