Maintenance Engineer - CHP (AM/DM)

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Implement good O & M practices and ensure financial excellence in the CHP area on Cost, Quality and Productivity. Ensure compliance of Qualitative & Quantitative execution of PM and daily defect Of equipment. Perform regular inspections, identify potential issues, and execute preventive maintenance to ensure the reliability Of Conveying and crushing systems. Monitor and maintain CHP equipment such as gear box, belt conveyor, pulley, crushers, Screens, stacker, Reclaimer and Stacker cum Reclaimer and other machinery associated with coal handling. Conduct routine checks on gear box, belt conveyor, pulley, Fluid Couplings and other machinery associated with coal handling. Optimization Of Inventory Control as per approved norms. Ensure availability of critical spares Ensure to minimize Equipment breakdown. Review Budget utilization & monitoring. Ensure timely creation of PR, PO and billing of all related vendors. Ensure professional development Of employees. Identification & ensure execution Of Improvement plan for bringing technological development & trouble-free plant operation. Ensure compliance and upgradation of 5S, Quality management System & Energy Management System Ensure safety and housekeeping of the CHP equipment and system. Coordinate with the CHP Operation team. Root cause analysis of equipment failures & Exposure to SAP/ISO. Functional Competencies: Knowledge about rotating equipment's like crusher, screen, stacker, reclaimer, conveyors, gearbox, hydraulic pumps, vibro feeders , bin vibrators, scoop couplings, fluid couplings, pulleys, Knowledge of Mechanical drawings, Structures. Must have good Knowledge of MS Office and SAP Preferred candidate profile Energy, Power and Steel
