Job Description

The board is seeking to employ 1 x Maintenance Assistant to assist in the provision of a comprehensive maintenance, repair and minor works service within NHS Golden Jubilee. The Post holder will work flexibly as part of a trained multi-skilled team, working independently to dynamically risk assess situations and faulty equipment and undertaking electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs that do not require the attention of a time-served craftsperson, along with providing support for Multi-Skilled Technicians and Craftsmen. This is a rotating shift pattern to discuss at interview. The successful candidate will have significant knowledge and understanding of a wide range of trades and disciplines operating within the Healthcare built environment. As the post holder will be working within a close knit team good interpersonal and communications skills are essential.
