Understanding the target domain of our applications in the insurance domain and the business and technical context of our customers Design and implement Batch applications in PL/1 Consulting and support of our users, in terms of implementation of our applications. Should be flexible with working hours (support may be required on weekends too) Detailed Skills Requirement : *PL1 - Must have,usage of PL1 in various Projects . Stored procedures with PL1 and DB2 .
* SQL & DB2- Must have,Very good understanding of relational Data model . Able to write complex SQL Queries (select, insert, Update), sub selects and so on . Usage of SQL within projects
*Linux - Must have,Basic knowledge about Linux as operating system Basic Linux commands
* Version Control - Must have, Practical experience with version management systems like SVN
*Core Java - Good to have. *Eclipse IDE - Good to have.
