Mainframe Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance mainframe applications using

  COBOL

  ,

  JCL

  ,

  DB2

  , and

  VSAM

  .
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of existing applications.
• Optimize batch processes and ensure efficient job scheduling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment.
• Ensure compliance with coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience

  in mainframe development.
• Strong programming skills in

  COBOL

  and

  JCL

  .
• Proficiency in

  DB2

  (SQL queries, stored procedures) and

  VSAM

  file handling.
• Experience with mainframe utilities and debugging tools.
• Good understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience in

  CICS

  ,

  IMS

  , or other transaction processing systems.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for mainframe environments.
