Mainframe Conversions Developer / Mainframe Modernization Engineer _Technology Lead

You have a great opportunity to join Broadridge as a Mainframe Conversions Developer / Mainframe Modernization Engineer. In this role, you will be working with mainframe applications such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, and more. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze existing mainframe applications, perform code remediation and optimization, and execute data migration and validation tasks. You will also collaborate with teams in the U.S. and India for knowledge transfer and design discussions. Additionally, you will support automation of conversion and testing processes, prepare technical documentation, and contribute to reusable conversion frameworks. Knowledge of open systems language like Python and familiarity with AWS environments is a plus, and working knowledge of Easytrieve programming is preferable. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and Maintain Mainframe applications - Produce detailed technical analysis, robust design, and develop high-quality code - Create technical specifications from functional specifications - Maintain application documentation - Define and adhere to programming standards - Provide quick turnaround to business requirements and management requests - Conduct unit and integration testing of developed code and participate in code reviews **Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree in engineering (BE/B.Tech) or equivalent, preferably in Computer Science Broadridge is dedicated to fostering a collaborative, engaging, and inclusive environment where associates are empowered to be authentic and bring their best selves to work.
