Job Title: MIS Finance Executive – Group Reporting Location: Bangalore Department: Corporate Finance Reporting To:CFO Job Purpose: To act as the central point of coordination for collecting, consolidating, and reporting financial and operational data across multiple Business Units (BUs) of the Group. The role will support senior management with accurate MIS reports, dashboards, and financial analysis to drive strategic decisions. Key Responsibilities: 1. MIS & Consolidated Reporting: Gather financial and operational data from multiple Business Units across the group. Consolidate and prepare periodic MIS reports, covering: Sales performance Operational costs Receivables and payables with ageing analysis Accruals and profitability metrics Design and maintain dashboards to present KPIs, trends, and variance analysis for management review. 2. Data Coordination & Governance: Liaise with BU finance/admin teams to ensure timely and accurate data submissions. Standardize reporting formats across BUs for consistency and comparability. Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and completeness. 3. Audit & Compliance Support: Support statutory, tax, and internal audits by providing consolidated data and audit-ready reports. Assist in compliance activities like GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and PT filings, coordinating data from BUs. 4. Tools & Process Improvement: Utilize tools like Tally, Excel (Advanced), and BI tools (if available) to automate and streamline reporting. Identify gaps and propose improvements in MIS reporting processes and formats. Required Skills & Competencies: Strong command over financial reporting, consolidation, and variance analysis. Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, etc.). Familiarity with accounting software like Tally Prime. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and manage inter-BU dependencies. High attention to detail, time management, and stakeholder coordination. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Educational Qualification: CA Intermediate or B.Com/M.Com with specialization in Finance or Accounting. Work Experience: 2–3 years of experience in MIS reporting, audit, or finance in a multi-entity or group setup. Experience in working with Chartered Accountant firms or corporate finance teams handling group reporting is an advantage.
