Magento E-commerce Manager

Role Overview

coordinating, managing, and overseeing

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the

  primary liaison

  between Awnopy’s business team and the external Magento development vendor.
• Translate business requirements into

  technical specifications

  and oversee execution.
• Review and validate

  cost estimates, proposals, and project timelines

  from vendors.

• Troubleshoot and fix minor issues

  in Magento directly to avoid unnecessary delays.
• Supervise

  new feature rollouts, enhancements, and bug fixes

  .
• Ensure site compliance with

  U.S. e-commerce standards

  (SEO, ADA compliance, site speed, multi-currency, tax settings, payment integrations).
• Conduct

  QA and testing

  to verify vendor output before go-live.
• Track and report

  project progress, risks, and costs

  to management.
• Research and recommend

  Magento extensions, APIs, and integrations

  to support international expansion.

Candidate Profile

Experience:

• 5–8 years of

  hands-on Magento (2.x) experience

  , with a focus on the U.S. e-commerce market.
• Proven record of

  managing third-party vendors and development projects

  .
• Prior experience in

  international e-commerce rollouts

  is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of

  Magento architecture, modules, and extensions

  .
• Ability to

  debug and resolve basic Magento issues

  independently.
• Knowledge of

  front-end (HTML/CSS/JS)

  and

  back-end (PHP/MySQL)

  fundamentals.
• Familiarity with

  performance optimization, SEO, analytics, and security best practices
