Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India Experience: 5+ years in Magento development Job Type: Full-time Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Magento Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing Magento-based e-commerce platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a deep understanding of Magento 2 architecture, and a proven track record of delivering scalable and high-performance online stores. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development, customization, and enhancement of Magento 2 websites and extensions. Architect and implement complex Magento solutions following best practices. Optimize website performance, security, and scalability. Mentor junior developers and collaborate with design, QA, and product teams. Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues. Integrate third-party services including payment gateways, shipping providers, and APIs. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. Stay updated with the latest Magento and e-commerce industry trends and technologies. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement processes. Required Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a Magento Developer. Strong expertise in Magento 2 development (custom modules, themes, and API integrations). Advanced proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and XML. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and web services. Hands-on experience with Git or other version control systems. Good understanding of e-commerce SEO best practices and site performance optimization. Experience with Linux server environments and deployment tools. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to lead projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Knowledge of frontend frameworks like Knockout.js, React, or Vue.js. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and DevOps practices. Understanding of PCI-DSS compliance and security standards. Previous experience working in an e-commerce company or digital agency.
