Position: Executive – Magento Developer

Experience: 3+ years
Location: Sector 48, Gurugram

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Magento Developer hands-on experience in building and customizing Magento-based e-commerce platforms.
The ideal candidate should be proficient in creating custom themes and templates, integrating and consuming REST APIs, and handling product operations via API. Candidates should be able to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and high-performance Magento solutions.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop, customize, and maintain Magento 2 themes and templates from scratch.
• Build and customize Magento 2 modules as per project requirements.
• Work with Magento REST & SOAP APIs to integrate third-party services and perform operations like product management, order management, and customer handling.
• Write scripts to add/update products in bulk using REST API including all product attributes like images, categories, pricing, inventory, etc.
• Optimize website performance, page load speed, and overall frontend/backend efficiency.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and accessibility.
• Work with Magento CLI, Composer, and Git for code management and deployments.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA, and project managers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Perform code reviews, troubleshoot issues, and fix bugs efficiently.
• Maintain documentation for code, API usage, and module configurations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong experience in Magento 2 theme and module development.
• Deep knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Hands-on experience with Magento REST/SOAP APIs – creating and consuming APIs.
• Ability to insert and update product data via API, including complex types like configurable, bundle, and grouped products.
• Experience with custom checkout, payment gateway integration, shipping methods.
• Familiarity with Magento Admin Panel, product attributes, and EAV structure.
• Good understanding of Magento architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
• Proficiency in using tools like Postman, Git, Composer, and CLI commands.
• Knowledge of caching strategies (Varnish, Redis) and performance optimization.
• Understanding of security best practices for Magento sites.
• Experience with headless Magento or PWA Studio is a bonus.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment workflows.
• Experience working with multi-store, multi-language, and multi-currency setups.
