Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Panel Saw Operator to join our interior manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for cutting and sizing wood panels, laminates, MDF, and other sheet materials accurately as per production requirements, while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain panel saw machines to cut wood, MDF, plywood, and laminates to required sizes.
Read and understand cutting lists, drawings, and measurements.
Ensure accuracy in cutting dimensions to reduce wastage.
Select appropriate blades and adjust machine settings as per material type.
Conduct routine checks, cleaning, and minor maintenance of the machine.
Follow production schedules and coordinate with the supervisor/production team.
Ensure workplace safety and proper handling of materials.
Maintain records of material usage and report any damages or discrepancies.
Requirements:
Minimum [X] years of experience as a Panel Saw Operator or similar role.
Knowledge of woodworking materials (MDF, plywood, laminates, etc.).
Ability to read technical drawings and cutting lists.
Skilled in operating woodworking machines safely.
Attention to detail and quality workmanship.
Physically fit to handle sheet materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in interior/furniture manufacturing industry.
Basic mechanical knowledge for machine maintenance.
