Machine Operator ( Steel Coil Slitting/ Cut to Length CTL ) Bangalore

Job Description

Set up and operate the steel coil slitting machine according to work orders and production schedules. Load and unload coils using overhead cranes or forklifts. Adjust slitting knives and tooling to ensure accurate widths and tolerances. Monitor machine operation to detect malfunctions or product defects. Perform quality checks to ensure slit coils meet specifications (width, burr, camber, edge condition). Maintain accurate production and inspection records. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues. Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE. Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors. Keep work area clean and organized.
