Machine Learning Engineer

Tarlton.io is building nationwide, AI-driven platforms across transportation, business services, and digital marketplaces. We’re hiring an AI/ML Engineer to design, train, and deploy production-ready AI systems. This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work directly on scaling our platforms with advanced AI solutions.

What you’ll do

• Build, train, and optimize ML models with OpenAI, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, etc.• Integrate LLMs and APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) into real-time workflows• Deploy AI pipelines in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)• Collaborate with engineers to embed AI into applications• Fine-tune models on proprietary datasets to improve accuracy and performance• Monitor, log, and continuously improve deployed models

What we’re looking for

• Strong Python + ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn)• Experience deploying ML in production• Cloud proficiency (AWS preferred: S3, Lambda, SageMaker, EC2)• Familiarity with MLOps (CI/CD, model versioning, Docker, Kubernetes)• Hands-on with LLMs, APIs, and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, etc.)• Problem-solving ability and entrepreneurial mindset
