Role Overview: We’re seeking a passionate Fashion Designer to design our first collection — creating modern, well-fitted pieces rooted in sustainable practices. You’ll develop patterns, work closely with tailors, and help bring the Maati Raaga vision to life. Key Responsibilities: • Design contemporary garments that reflect craft heritage with a modern edge • Create accurate, thoughtful patterns (digital/manual) for production • Collaborate directly with tailors to ensure perfect fit, finish, and garment integrity • Source sustainable fabrics and natural dyes in line with our values • Conduct fit sessions and refine designs based on real body forms • Help shape the creative direction of the brand with a focus on mindful, empowered design Who We’re Looking For: • Passionate about sustainability, natural dyeing, and traditional crafts • Experienced in pattern making and working hands-on with tailors • Driven by purpose, not trends — designing for real women • Confident, creative, and committed to thoughtful, body-positive fashion Bonus if You Have: • Background in sustainable fashion or natural textiles • Familiarity with Gerber, TUKAcad, or CLO 3D • Knowledge of natural dye processes If you want to create with purpose, empower through design, and make sustainable fashion that speaks to real women, Maati Raaga is the place for you.
