Role Overview
We are seeking a
highly motivated and analytically driven M&A Analyst
to join our Strategy & Corporate Development team in Bangalore. This individual will be responsible for supporting the full M&A lifecycle—from deal sourcing and research to financial analysis and execution. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and a deep curiosity for understanding market trends and strategic growth opportunities.This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with leadership on strategic transactions, build industry landscapes, and contribute to investment decision-making for a NASDAQ-listed global enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed market and industry mapping, including competitive benchmarking, market sizing, and trend analysis across target verticals.
- Maintain and update the M&A deal pipeline, ensuring data accuracy, tracking, and timely follow-up on opportunities.
- Support origination efforts by identifying target companies, investors, or partners aligned with reAlpha’s acquisition strategy.
- Prepare company profiles, valuation summaries, and strategic fit assessments as part of deal evaluation.
- Contribute to financial and business due diligence in collaboration with internal and external teams.
- Develop investment memoranda, executive summaries, and presentations to support deal evaluation and leadership reviews.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance, Legal, Product, and Operations to support end-to-end deal processes and integration.
- Monitor industry, macroeconomic, and capital market developments relevant to reAlpha’s target sectors.
- Leverage data tools, automation, and industry databases (e.g., PitchBook, Crunchbase, CB Insights) to enhance sourcing and analysis workflows.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
- Certifications or coursework in valuation, financial modeling, or M&A would be an added advantage.
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or M&A advisory.
- Exposure to deal origination, research, or transaction execution.
- Experience maintaining CRM or pipeline tools (Airtable, HubSpot, DealCloud, Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
- Strong understanding of valuation frameworks (EV/EBITDA, revenue multiples, precedent transactions, etc.).
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent analytical and research skills; ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
- Strong financial modeling, Excel, and PowerPoint proficiency.
- Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to distill findings for senior leadership.
- Familiarity with data visualization or research platforms (PitchBook, CB Insights, CapIQ) preferred.
- Self-starter with intellectual curiosity, strategic thinking, and the ability to work across time zones.
- Highly organized with strong follow-through and attention to detail.
