QA Engineer (SDET)

Job Details

• Job Type:

  Full-time

• Location:

  Remote

• Working Hours:

  Monday–Saturday, 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM IST (2nd & 4th Saturdays off)

• Compensation:

  Up to ₹3,60,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities

• Perform

  manual testing,

  including Functional (FT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), API testing, and End-to-End (E2E) testing.
• Design, build, and maintain

  automated test scripts

  using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop and execute

  API automation

  using Postman.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and Stakeholders to define and uphold quality standards.
• Contribute to

  test automation frameworks

  for web applications and APIs.
• Ensure functional and non-functional requirements are testable and translated into

  effective test cases.

• Actively participate in

  Agile ceremonies

  , providing insights and driving quality initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• Experience:

• 4+ years as a QA Engineer with a strong focus on manual testing.
• 3+ years in

  API testing

  and

  E2E automation

  .
• 3+ years hands-on with

  Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

  .
• Solid experience with

  Postman

  (3+ years).
• Exposure to

  Cypress, Selenium, or other automation frameworks

  .
• Experience with

  GitHub Actions or other CI/CD tools

  (preferred).
• Familiarity with

  C# and React Native

  (basic knowledge acceptable).

Skills

• Expertise in writing

  customized XPath/CSS selectors

  .
• Strong knowledge of automation best practices and framework design.
• Comfortable working in

  Agile/Scrum environments

  .
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning.
