Job Description

Designation: Network Engineer Role: Network Administration (LAN, Wi-Fi, WAN Support, IP Telephony Support, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, etc.) Key Responsibilities: Network Administration – LAN and WLAN WAN and Internet Link Monitoring and Co-ordination with ISPs/ Telcos Cisco IP Telephony Administration (Cisco UCM) Network Security Administration (Cisco ASA Firewalls, Cisco ISE, etc.) Operational support for Network and Security related issues – Incidents, Problems, Changes, Service Requests Provide required support to Internal Controls, internal and external audits on Network Services Network Capacity Monitoring, Planning and Upgrades/ Downgrades, as needed LAN and WLAN Security Support to internal initiatives/ projects involving Network (LAN, WAN, Network Security) Support to Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning and Exercises/ Drills Continuous Process Improvement on Network, Network Optimization and Security Initiatives Your profile Education / Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science or Engineering degree in any discipline ITIL/ CCNA/ CCNP and related certifications are added advantage Your experience At least 3-5 years of experience in Network Operations, primarily in Offshore Delivery Centres/ Global Capability Centres/ Network Operations Centres/ In-house IT Operations environments in large multinational companies in India/ globally Hands-on experience/ skills in Administration/ Operations/ Configuration of Cisco Routers, Switches, ASA Firewalls, Cisco Wireless LAN Controller, Cisco ISE, Cisco UCM/ IP Telephony, etc Required skills: Strong Knowledge/ Experience in Cisco Network & Security Solutions Routing, Switching, Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Cisco WLC Experience in Network Design, Implementation and Architecture Reviews is a great advantage. Knowledge and experience in related areas like – Proxy, SIEM, Cloud Security, AD, Vulnerability Assessment, etc would be advantage Good understanding of ITIL Processes such as – Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Asset/ Configuration Management, Service Reporting IT & Security Audits and Support Soft skills: Open-minded, collaborative and an effective team player. Ability to work in a multicultural and diverse team. Willing to learn new/ other technologies/ solutions and contribute, as needed Driven for success and aspiring to a culture of service excellence, always putting the customer, our people and our business at the center of everything he/she does.
