Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Looker Developer & Admin to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Looker, LookML, SQL, Business Intelligence (BI), and BigQuery (BQ), with a preference for candidates with finance domain knowledge. The role involves developing, administering, and optimizing Looker-based analytics solutions to provide actionable insights to business stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize Looker dashboards, reports, and data models. Administer Looker platform, managing user roles, access control, and system performance. Design and develop LookML models to build scalable and reusable data models. Write efficient SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and analysis. Work with BigQuery (BQ) and other data warehousing solutions to ensure seamless data integration. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver insightful BI solutions. Ensure best practices in BI development and data visualization for effective decision-making. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements. Stay updated with Looker and BI tool advancements to enhance analytics capabilities. Qualifications & Skills: 5-8 years of experience in Looker development and administration. Strong expertise in LookML for building and optimizing data models. Strong SQL skills with expertise in writing complex queries. Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence (BI) tools. Proficiency in BigQuery (BQ) and cloud-based data environments. Experience in the finance domain is preferred but not mandatory. Strong problem-solving skills with an analytical mindset.
