Details of Roles & Responsibilities Total Logistics process in domestic and international. Communication with shipping/delivery companies: daily liaison and coordination with shipping/delivery companies promptly. Coordination of shipments; document preparation and arrangements with shipping companies, over calls and emails. Coordination with delivery destinations: coordination and communication of delivery schedules to domestic/international customers and our employees in our branch location. Customs document management: preparation and management of customs documents required for international shipments: imports and exports. Liaison with shipping/delivery companies: scheduling and communication with shipping/delivery companies Optimizing logistics processes: analyzing and proposing improvements to domestic and international logistics processes. Cost management: identify delivery costs and propose reduction measures. Risk management: management of risks during transportation and planning and implementation of countermeasures. Negotiation of fees and selection of shipping companies. Negotiations of shipping fee and packing. Contracting with shipping companies when necessary and profitable. Develop new forwarder/courier and related companies Building good relationships with related forwarders, couriers and broker companies. Quotation, order placement, and delivery date management Based on the planned schedule, estimate and place orders of the shipment. Payment arrangement and management of the shipping fee. Quality management of shipment Confirm the packing is well done before shipment. Confirm the package/cargo is not damaged at the time of delivery. Making proper claims to the shipping company when any failure is confirmed. Select a proper packing company in quality and cost when outsourcing the packing. Set SOP and carry out PDCA (Plan, Do, Check, Action) for intra-packing. Coordination with other departments such as planning, development, accounting, manufacturing and Inventory Coordinate confirming/planning the schedule of shipment Coordinate confirming the product/materials are available and well prepared by the scheduled shipping date Coordinate the payment is properly carried out
