Logistics Manager

As a Logistics Coordinator, you will play a vital role in overseeing and optimizing logistics operations to ensure efficient transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and coordinating logistics operations, such as transportation, warehousing, and inventory management. - Monitoring, measuring, and improving logistics performance and costs. - Ensuring compliance with local and international shipping regulations. - Optimizing routes and transportation methods to reduce costs and delivery times. - Collaborating with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align logistics with company operations. - Negotiating contracts and managing relationships with third-party logistics (3PL) providers and carriers. - Supervising, training, and evaluating logistics staff and warehouse personnel. - Maintaining accurate reports on logistics performance, costs, and service levels. - Handling logistics-related issues and resolving problems efficiently. - Implementing safety and compliance standards throughout the logistics process. To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. - Proven experience in logistics or supply chain management. - Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills. - Strong communication and negotiation abilities. - Ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
