As a Logistics Manager at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing our logistics operations, both domestically and internationally. Your 68 years of hands-on experience in logistics, including freight management, customs clearance, and supply chain coordination, will be instrumental in ensuring timely and cost-efficient deliveries. Your strong leadership capabilities and proactive attitude in managing and developing teams will be essential for success in this role. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, coordinate, and manage logistics and transportation strategies for domestic and international shipments. - Lead and supervise logistics coordinators, warehouse personnel, and third-party service providers. - Identify and negotiate agreements with international freight forwarders for optimal coverage and cost-effectiveness. - Collaborate with international courier partners for efficient last-mile and local transportation. - Monitor shipments to ensure compliance with customs clearance procedures and trade regulations. - Develop and maintain customer and vendor databases for streamlined operations and improved communication. - Track and analyze logistics performance metrics for efficiency improvements. - Negotiate freight contracts and rates with carriers, shipping lines, and freight forwarders. - Ensure compliance with import/export laws, customs documentation, and trade standards. - Coordinate logistics planning with procurement, production, and sales teams. - Utilize data analytics to optimize shipping routes and reduce transportation costs. - Oversee inventory flow, warehousing, and inventory accuracy. - Develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions in the supply chain. - Maintain and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety regulations. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. - 68 years of relevant experience in logistics operations, including domestic and international logistics. - Proven experience in team management and cross-functional coordination. - Strong knowledge of customs clearance, freight forwarding, and documentation. - Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills. - Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines. - Certification in logistics or supply chain (e.g., APICS, CSCMP, Six Sigma) is a plus.
