Logistics Executive

As a Logistics Executive at Steeloncall, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating logistics operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods, optimize supply chain processes, and manage inventory effectively. Your responsibilities will include: - **Logistics & Supply Chain Management:** - Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound logistics operations. - Optimize transportation routes to minimize costs and delivery time. - Manage warehouse operations, ensuring efficient inventory storage and movement. - **Vendor & Customer Coordination:** - Work with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries. - Negotiate contracts with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transport companies. - Address customer inquiries and resolve shipment or delivery issues. - **Inventory & Warehouse Management:** - Oversee stock levels and manage replenishment strategies. - Implement inventory control measures to reduce losses and optimize storage. - Conduct regular audits to maintain accurate records of stock movements. - **Compliance & Documentation:** - Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations. - Prepare and maintain shipping documents, invoices, and customs clearance paperwork. - Monitor and enforce safety regulations in warehouse and transport operations. - **Process Improvement & Reporting:** - Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. - Implement cost-saving measures and process optimizations in the supply chain. - Prepare reports on logistics performance, delays, and cost analysis for management. **Key Requirements:** - Education: Bachelor's degree - Experience: 2-5 years in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse management. - Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and negotiation skills, ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
