Logistics Executive

Role Overview The Logistics Executive will manage all dispatch, delivery, packaging, and returns operations for Baise Gaba, ensuring accurate, timely, and cost-effective movement of goods. This role involves preparing and checking shipments, verifying barcodes and invoices, managing transport vendors, handling returns, and keeping accurate documentation for all movements. KEY RESPONSIBLITIES Dispatch & Packaging Coordination Collect daily dispatch schedule from the order manager. Coordinate with warehouse and production for goods ready for dispatch. Oversee packaging to ensure correct folding, labeling, and secure packing. Mark and label invoices on each shipment for easy identification. Product & Invoice Verification Cross-check packed products against invoice and order sheet. Scan and verify barcodes to ensure accuracy. Flag and correct any mismatches before dispatch. Documentation & Compliance Prepare invoices, delivery challans, and e-way bills for each shipment. Attach required documents to packages before dispatch. Maintain hard and soft copies of all shipping and returns documents. Returns Handling Receive and open returned packages carefully. Register returns in the returns logbook/system with reason and date. Verify returned items against the original invoice and barcode. Coordinate with inventory and QC teams for inspection and restocking. Shipment Tracking Coordinate with transport vendors for pickup and delivery schedules. Track shipments in transit and update status to the order manager. Handle delays, damages, or lost shipments promptly. Vendor Coordination & Cost Control Maintain regular contact with courier and transport vendors. Negotiate best rates for regular and bulk shipments. Maintain an updated database of preferred logistics partners.  Reporting Submit daily dispatch and returns status reports. Maintain records of transportation expenses and vendor invoices. Highlight recurring operational issues and suggest solutions.
