Logistics Customer Service

As a Logistics Specialist at our company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing logistics operations for both international and domestic shipments. Your responsibilities will include: - Coordinating with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods. - Preparing and reviewing shipping documents, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations. - Monitoring and tracking shipments, resolving any issues that arise during transit. - Developing and maintaining relationships with carriers, suppliers, and customers. - Negotiating rates and contracts with carriers and suppliers. - Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. - Analyzing and optimizing logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. - Providing excellent customer service, addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. - Preparing and presenting reports on logistics performance and key metrics. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transport, or International Business Administration. - Proven experience as a Logistics Specialist or in a similar role (Supply Chain, Export/Import, Procurement, Sales, Planning, etc). - Strong knowledge of transportation processes, supply chain management, and planning. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
