About the Role


GEO/LLMO Expert

You will collaborate with SEO, content, and AI teams to optimize our clients’ visibility in the evolving landscape of AI-driven search.



Key Responsibilities

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization)

  • Optimize content for visibility across AI-powered search engines and generative interfaces.
  • Analyze generative search outputs (SGE, Perplexity, ChatGPT responses) to identify ranking opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to improve inclusion in AI-generated summaries
  • Monitor AI search trends, query clusters, and response mapping to enhance content presence.



LLMO (Large Language Model Optimization)

  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize content for LLMs, improving rankings and performance across different AI-driven platforms
  • Analyze large-scale data and make data-driven decisions to improve content relevance and optimization for LLMs..
  • Evaluate LLM outputs for brand or client mentions and identify optimization gaps.
  • Develop structured, entity-rich content aligned with LLM learning patterns.
  • Collaborate with content teams to create model-friendly formats (FAQs, schemas, data-backed paragraphs).


SEO Collaboration

  • Work with the SEO team to integrate GEO/LLMO insights into traditional SEO strategies.
  • Audit websites manually and through tools for indexing issues, speed improvements, and technical gaps impacting AI visibility.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and SEO-related technical elements (schema markup, technical audits, etc.)


Research & Reporting

  • Track performance on generative search platforms and provide actionable insights.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly reports on GEO/LLMO performance, visibility trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Stay updated with the latest generative AI advancements and search ecosystem changes.


Required Skills

  • Minimum

    6 months of hands-on experience

    in GEO, LLMO, AI search optimization, or related fields.
  • Understanding of generative search platforms (SGE, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, etc.).
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with structured data, schema, and content optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret generative AI outputs.
  • Ability to collaborate across SEO, content, and AI teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.


Good-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with prompt engineering or LLM evaluation.
  • Knowledge of entity-based SEO and semantic search.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Ahrefs Brand Radar, writesonic, brandlight..etc
