LINUX Support Specialist What you will do As a LINUX Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support for Linux-based systems and applications. Your role will involve troubleshooting, diagnosing, and resolving issues reported by users, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability. How you will do it Provide level 1 and level 2 support for Linux environments, including user account management and system configuration. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Linux operating systems and applications. Maintain and monitor system performance, ensuring uptime and reliability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address and resolve system-related problems. Document and track support requests in the ticketing system, ensuring timely resolution. Assist in the installation, configuration, and upgrading of Linux operating systems and related software. Participate in training and mentoring users on Linux best practices. Required 0-1 year of experience in IT support or a related role. Basic knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line interfaces. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Preferred Familiarity with scripting languages (e. g. , Bash, Python). Experience with ticketing systems and user support processes. Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
