Linux Support Engineer

Linux Support Engineer at Toolyt We are seeking a skilled and experienced Linux Engineer to join our team. The Linux Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Linux-based servers, ensuring their stability, security, and efficiency. The role requires expertise in system administration, troubleshooting, and automation to support the organization s business operations. Responsibilities: Manage the software, hardware, and systems on a Linux server on Cloud Design, build, and maintain core services and infrastructure Ensure compliance of information assurance policies, concepts, and measures Install and monitor Linux operating systems and associated services Implement security measures and identify potential issues Update security settings Design and manage backup and recovery Requirements: Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in core Linux server-side administration. Proficiency in working with multiple Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS). Mandatory: Experience with AWS or Azure and its major services. Strong knowledge of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls). Hands-on experience with Bash, Python for automation. Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
