Job Title: Senior Linux Systems Administrator Location: Mumbai and Bangalore Experience: 6 - 9 Years Job Type: Full-time Roles and responsibilities : System Administration : Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.), ensuring their availability, stability, and performance. Monitoring & Optimization : Implement and maintain monitoring solutions to proactively detect and resolve performance or system issues. Optimize system resources for scalability and efficiency. Automation & Scripting : Develop and maintain automation scripts (Bash, Python, Ansible, etc.) to streamline server deployment, configuration management, and routine tasks. Security : Manage and enforce security policies, including firewalls, VPN, SELinux, and system patching. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and hardening of servers. Backup & Disaster Recovery : Implement and maintain backup solutions, disaster recovery plans, and high availability setups to ensure system uptime. Troubleshooting & Support : Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues across different layers of the Linux stack (hardware, OS, applications, and networks). Collaboration : Work closely with application developers, network engineers, and other teams to ensure smooth operation and integration of services. Documentation : Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Compliance : Ensure systems meet industry standards and regulatory requirements.
