Job Description

As a Diploma holder in Mechanical/Production, you will be responsible for managing a team of 45-50 workmen and 5-6 supervisors in the weld body shop. Your key responsibilities will include: - Planning and management of workmen and supervisors - Analyzing issues and implementing countermeasures to enhance Safety, Quality, and Productivity - Administrative control, Manpower Management, Training, and Skill Upgradation - Achieving Production & Quality targets and Loss Recovery - Hands-on experience in Line operations, Part loading Sequence, and Line Data management - Conducting efficiency analysis and continuous Improvement (KAIZEN) - Training new supervisors and workmen - Defect analysis and implementation of countermeasures - Achieving Safety, Production, and Quality cost (KPI) targets - Emergency and loss recovery planning - Consumables consumption optimization In terms of Functional/Technical requirements, you should have: - In-depth knowledge of welding jigs, Safety Checks, and Quality checks - Knowledge of spot welding process and parameter control - Familiarity with Robot teaching/programming of Fanuc and Kawasaki robots - Understanding of quality systems to maintain weld body quality - Knowledge of body accuracy analysis and fit and finish - Detailed understanding of Door line and white body line operations - Hands-on experience in Line operations, Part loading Sequence, and Line Data management - Team building skills and customer-oriented attitude On the Behavioral side, you should possess: - Target orientation - Customer orientation - Good analytical skills - Excellent Communication & presentation skills - Flexibility - Team player - Networking skills This role requires a proactive individual with a hands-on approach, strong leadership skills, and a focus on continuous improvement.,
