Company: Chola MS General Insurance Position Title: Software Engineer Liferay (React, Advanced Java) Location : Chennai Job Description: The ideal candidate should have strong development and support of content management sites using React, Java and Liferay platform. Also should be passionate about technology and possess very good analytical, development, and problem-solving skills with ability to communicate effectively. Exposure of Developing Liferay configuration, Strong exposure in LifeRay preferably Liferay DXP 7.0(latest version).Understanding of Agile Framework. Knowledge of React, Java technology. Key Responsibilities: Designing & developing applications in the React, Java, Liferay DXP portal platform. Portlets, Modules, and Portal Plugins custom development using Liferay SDK, IDE. Proficient in technical skills Liferay DXP latest versions, JAVA, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, JSP. Front-end skills ReactJS, HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS3, Bootstrap. Develop and Consume Webservices (SOAP, REST). Any Database knowledge in (MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle DB, MongoDB). Jenkins, Build Management (Ant, Maven, Gradle). Knowledge of Linux, Windows operating systems. Good Knowledge of React, Java, Liferay Workflow implementation. Agile development experience. Ensure the Code Quality and best practices are followed as per the standards. Qualifications: Well trained and having hands of experience in React, Java, Liferay Technologies. Working experience in Agile Methodologies. Working experience with DB technologies Understanding of DevOps concept. Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment methodologies and tools Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Aptitude for innovation, working independently and thinking outside of the box.
