Collection Management

Patron assistance: Helping users find information, conduct research, and use library resources and technologies, such as online databases and e-books.

Program development: Planning and hosting events and activities for different age groups, such as story times for children, book sales, or technology workshops.

Inventory and administration: Conducting periodic audits, checking items in and out, managing budgets and staff, and keeping records.

Skills and qualifications

Information literacy: Strong research and information-handling skills are essential.

Technology proficiency: Knowledge of digital resources, databases, and other library technologies is required.

Customer service: Excellent interpersonal skills to assist a diverse range of patrons effectively.
