Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Liaison Officer to join our team in a Pvt. Ltd. company. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with government offices, particularly the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), to ensure smooth operations and achieve our business goals. Responsibilities: Government Liaison: Focus on liaising with BMC offices, navigating procedures, and obtaining necessary permits and approvals for the company's operations. Build and maintain positive working relationships with BMC officials. Proactively stay updated on relevant BMC regulations, policies, and deadlines. Represent the company effectively in interactions with BMC departments. Resolve any issues or roadblocks arising from BMC requirements in a timely and professional manner. Communication and Collaboration: Act as a point of contact for internal teams regarding all matters related to BMC interactions. Facilitate clear and timely communication between internal department and BMC representatives. Prepare reports and presentations to keep internal teams informed of BMC updates and requirements. Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., legal, operations) to ensure compliance with BMC regulations. Information Management: Conduct research and stay informed on relevant changes in BMC processes and regulations. Maintain comprehensive records of all communication and interactions with BMC offices. Prepare and track applications for permits and approvals, ensuring adherence to deadlines. Qualifications: HSC or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. Minimum [5-10 years] of experience in a liaison role within a Pvt. Ltd. company, with a demonstrably successful track record of liaising with government offices, particularly the BMC. In-depth knowledge of BMC procedures, regulations, and policies relevant to the company's industry. Written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex regulations in a clear and concise manner. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills, adept at building rapport with government officials. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
