Key Responsibilities: Government Relations Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, agencies, and regulatory bodies. Act as the primary point of contact for all government-related matters, including permits, licenses, and approvals. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with local, state, and national regulations related to construction and development. Monitor changes in regulations and advise the company on necessary adjustments to policies and procedures. Approval and Permits: Oversee the preparation and submission of applications for permits, licenses, and other necessary approvals. Track the progress of applications and address any issues or delays with relevant authorities. Expertise in obtaining NOCs from various governing bodies Fire & Safety, KSPCB, BESCOM, BWSSB, BSNL and AAI. Advocacy and Representation: Represent the company in meetings, forums, and hearings with government bodies. Advocate for the company’s interests in policy discussions and regulatory matters. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all government interactions, approvals, and compliance-related documents. Prepare regular reports on the status of permits, approvals, and any regulatory issues. Strategic Input: Provide strategic advice to senior management on government relations and regulatory matters. Develop and implement strategies to enhance the company’s standing with government entities.
