Job Summary: The Legal Head will be responsible for overseeing all legal affairs of Krivi Energy, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, managing legal risks, and providing strategic legal advice to the management team. This role involves leading the legal department, managing external legal counsel, and supporting business operations through effective legal strategies. Key Responsibilities: Legal Compliance: Ensure the company adheres to all applicable laws and regulations in its operations (Ongoing). Develop and implement compliance programs and policies to mitigate legal risks (Annual compliance reviews). Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with customers, suppliers, and partners (Monthly contract reviews). Ensure that all contracts align with company policies and protect the organization's interests. Risk Management: Identify potential legal risks and provide advice on mitigating strategies (Quarterly risk assessments). Monitor changes in laws and regulations that may impact the business and advise management accordingly. Dispute Resolution: Manage and oversee any litigation or legal disputes involving the company (As needed). Work with external legal counsel to develop strategies for dispute resolution and litigation management. Legal Advisory: Provide legal advice and support to various departments, including sales, marketing, and operations (Ongoing). Assist in the development of company policies and procedures that comply with legal requirements. Team Leadership: Lead and mentor the legal team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability (Conduct quarterly performance reviews). Ensure the legal team is well-trained and knowledgeable about current legal issues and best practices. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all legal documents, contracts, and compliance activities (Ongoing). Prepare regular reports for senior management on legal matters, risks and compliance status (Monthly updates). Measurable Deliverables: Achieve a 100% compliance rate with all applicable laws and regulations. Successfully negotiate and finalize contracts with less than 5% requiring amendments post-signature. Reduce legal disputes by 15% through proactive risk management strategies. Maintain a turnaround time of less than 5 business days for contract reviews and approvals. Ensure all legal documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible, with a 100% accuracy rate. Qualifications: CS with Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; admission to practice law in relevant jurisdictions or Only Law Graduate. 8+ years of experience in corporate law, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of legal regulations pertaining to the renewable energy sector is preferred. Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage multiple legal matters simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
