Role Description

The Legal Executive I (CS) position is designed for a Company Secretary-qualified or nearing-qualification professional who will support corporate governance, compliance monitoring, and statutory documentation across the organization. The candidate will work closely with the in-house legal team and relevant stakeholders to ensure timely adherence to regulatory obligations and corporate secretarial best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance with Companies Act, FEMA and other applicable corporate laws
• Support preparation and filing of statutory returns, forms and disclosures with MCA and other authorities
• Maintain and update secretarial records including statutory registers, minutes, resolutions and notices
• Coordinate Board, Committee and General Meetings including drafting of agenda, presentations and minutes
• Provide support in drafting and reviewing routine agreements, NDAs, and compliance submissions
• Monitor regulatory updates and assist in implementing required governance measures
• Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and external counsel for compliance-related matters

Preferred Candidate Profile

• CS qualified or pursuing final level of Company Secretary course
• 0 to 2 years of experience in corporate secretarial or compliance roles
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles
• Good command over legal drafting accuracy and documentation
• Proficiency in MCA portal and secretarial software tools
• Excellent communication, organizational and stakeholder coordination skills
