Role Overview

Paralegal / Legal Associate

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and maintain case files with complete documentation in line with internal protocols.
• Draft petitions, motions, and basic legal documents using templates in case management systems or MS Word.
• Compile, prepare, and electronically submit appearance packets and exhibits as required.
• File and track court documents for specific counties when needed.
• Regularly update case records in the case management system to reflect progress.
• Monitor cases by reviewing updates on court websites.
• Communicate case status and developments to clients in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
• Provide comprehensive paralegal support to clients and attorneys.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education:

  Bachelor’s degree in Law (JD equivalent).

• Experience:

  Minimum 2 years of legal experience, preferably with US-based law firms or corporate legal departments.
• Strong understanding of US laws and legal procedures.
• Hands-on experience with case/document management systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word and strong attention to detail.
