Legal Associate

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Associate to support our legal and operational functions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and reviewing documents with legal terms, managing end-to-end contract workflows, and coordinating with other departments such as finance to ensure seamless contract execution and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare, review, and edit contracts and other legal documents

Maintain accurate records of contract status, including follow-ups, signatures, and storage

Generate monthly reports on contract activity and status updates

Liaise with and support internal departments (e.g., finance, procurement, operations) to gather inputs and ensure alignment on contract terms

Track key contract milestones, renewals and expiration dates to ensure timely actions

Ensure all contracts are in compliance with internal policies and procedures

Maintain and update the asset register, including both physical and software assets

Qualifications & Skills

Strong organizational and time management skills

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in contract administration or documentation roles

Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Experience working in a compliance-driven environment is preferred but not mandatory
