Legal Assistant

Role Overview: You will be working as a Legal Associate (Fresher) in the Legal & Compliance department located at Sankey Road. Your main responsibility will be to support the legal team in day-to-day operations by assisting with legal research, drafting basic documents, supporting contract reviews, and ensuring compliance with organizational policies. This role is a great opportunity for a recent law graduate to gain practical experience in a professional setting. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct legal research on various topics such as corporate law, labor law, compliance, and regulatory requirements. - Assist in preparing legal memoranda, briefs, and notes. - Draft and review simple agreements, notices, and letters under guidance. - Help maintain and organize contract files and databases. - Support in monitoring regulatory updates and compliance requirements. - Assist in preparing documentation for statutory filings and audits. - Coordinate with internal departments for collecting data or documents required for legal tasks. - Assist senior lawyers in preparing case files, correspondence, and reports. - Help prepare documents for court filings if applicable. - Coordinate with external legal counsel when required. - Manage legal documentation and maintain proper records. Qualifications & Requirements: - Bachelors degree in Law (LL.B) - Strong legal research and drafting skills. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Basic understanding of MS Office. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.,
