Learning Mentor

As a Learning Mentor at our organization based in Kannur, your role involves supporting and enhancing student academic performance and personal development. You will collaborate closely with students, educators, and families to create a supportive and engaging learning environment. Key Responsibilities: - Establish and maintain trust-based relationships with students to support their academic and personal growth. - Lead enrichment programs, extracurricular activities, and initiatives that promote holistic development. - Collaborate with educators, parents, and school counselors to identify student needs and implement targeted interventions. - Continuously assess student academic performance to identify areas requiring additional support. - Assist in creating individualized learning plans tailored to student strengths and challenges. - Reinforce classroom learning through supplemental instruction and skill-building activities. - Maintain ongoing communication with parents/guardians to share progress updates and address concerns. - Coordinate and participate in parent-teacher meetings to discuss academic progress, behavioral observations, and goal setting. - Provide parents with strategies and resources to support student learning at home. - Accurately record and track student attendance, academic outcomes, behavioral observations, and intervention results. - Generate regular performance reports and analyze data to inform instructional strategies. - Utilize Management Information Systems (MIS) and educational platforms for effective data tracking and reporting. Qualifications Required: - Genuine passion for mentoring and student development. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable educational insights. - Highly organized and proficient in using digital tools and educational software for documentation and reporting. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule and requires in-person work at our location in Kannur.
